Madison Hospital is the first hospital in North Alabama and just the fourth in the state to earn the Baby-Friendly USA certification through the World Health Organization and United Nations Children’s Fund. Madison Hospital has also earned the Alabama Breastfeeding Committee’s Better Bama Babies Award as well as the IBCLC Care Award from the International Board of Lactation Consultants.
