Breastfeeding Classes

We support exclusive breastfeeding because of the proven health benefits. Our certified lactation specialists offer in-person and online breastfeeding classes to help expectant mothers learn about the significant benefits of breastfeeding, what to expect at the first breastfeeding session and strategies for breastfeeding success. This is approximately a two hour class.

  • Each breastfeeding mom is encouraged to include one support person.
  • Moms and their support person are strongly encouraged to attend breastfeeding class at the hospital where they plan to deliver. That way, you can get to know the lactation team members who will be caring for you and your new baby.
