Madison Hospital President Mary Lynne Wright was recently elected president of the Alabama Hospital Association's North Council.
The council provides a forum for North Alabama hospital executives to share best practices and develop key relationships that support them in their respective positions.
“Mary Lynne has been a dedicated member of our Association for years, and we are pleased to have her lead the council in North Alabama,” said Alabama Hospital Association President Donald E. Williamson, MD.
Wright has led Madison Hospital since October 2010. Before that she held numerous key positions at Huntsville Hospital including vice president of surgical services, corporate compliance officer and risk manager. She began her career as a registered nurse.
Wright has served on the Alabama Hospital Association's Telehealth task force, the Alabama Department of Public Health’s Licensure Advisory Board, and the Madison Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Founded in 1921, the Alabama Hospital Association is a statewide trade organization that assists member hospitals in effectively serving the health care needs of Alabama, through advocacy, representation, education and service.
